The project is located in the city of Guadalajara, in a subdivision that borders one of the busiest avenues in the city, so the house is completely inside, partially closing off from the outside.
This project seeks to reduce the possible square meters of construction without affecting the dimensions of the spaces, so the double heights are located along the entire route and in this way we can unify the house, without having interior walls in between that obstruct the view of the route we want to generate.
The conversation between landscaping and architecture is an essential part of the project, since the vegetation emerges from the outside to be located inside. Creating a route along the concrete walls and the steel lattice that becomes a green wall thanks to the foliage of the plants that create this permeability of the interior with the exterior.
In this way, the house seeks its privacy, connecting all the spaces of the house through vegetation.
The geometry of the house is complemented by the exposed concrete of the basement, ground floor and the steel of the upper floor that connects the different volumes of the project, thus creating a vestibule at the main entrance that goes from the basement to the upper floor creating a triple height and receiving the visitor by means of this bridge that takes you to the main door.
The basement is the hub of this project, since all the important elements of the house emerge from there, such as its double interior patio, which embraces the main entrance and creates this core of landscaping that stands out for the treetops on its ground floor. Giving character to the natural lighting and ventilation that bathes these exposed concrete walls that take you along the entire route of the project.
A double height is created at the main entrance, to enhance the strength of the project, where in its opening it creates double heights that connect the different spaces of the house, which go from the living room to the kitchen and where a patio of flowerpots emerges in its transition that connects the different spaces of the house, to create this direct connection with the exterior and establish the same conversation throughout the entire route.
The dialectic of the materials, concrete-wood-steel integrate the project to give warmth to its interior and connect the different spaces of the exterior.
The dialogue between the interior and exterior is created by means of sliding windows that are hidden between the walls, in order to integrate the spaces in their entirety and through the vegetation connect the house with the exterior.
The architecture of the project is strengthened by the landscaping, as it emphasizes different places in the house both inside and outside, from the interior basement patio that takes you through its circulation cube to the upper floor, where the treetops welcome you and emphasize these steel bridges that take you to the different spaces of the house.
