The renovation project covered the ground floor and the cellars of an old medieval building in the historic center of Gubbio in Umbria. The design drive has been to enhance and highlight all historical parts, using contemporary language in contrast to the history of the building. The paneling of the living encircle the space, enhancing the great brick vault of the celing. The old cellars, after the restoration of the stone walls have become a private SPA, directly connected to the living room.
