The project of building Tôn Đức Thắng University in An Giang province, in the Mekong Delta region, is designed with functions such as library, office, classrooms, dormitory, and sports center. In the initial phase, there will be two buildings designed for the library and office. However, when approaching the project, there are still some issues such as traffic, noise, and air pollution. Although the land area is large, the surrounding area of the construction site is still enclosed by slums.

A highlight of the project is the proposed “roof of knowledge” located between the two buildings, which is not only a symbol of an invisible house on the water surface with rice fields behind, but also an open heart to welcome the image of knowledge. In addition, the project focuses on sustainability to reduce pressure on the environment. The vertical form of the project is processed in the form of steps, creating a diagonal effect and creating shadows for the lower block according to the principle of deflection.
