SALVATORE SANTORO SHOWROOM

Opened during Milan Men's Fashion Week, Salvatore Santoro's first flagship showroom is a two-level space at Via Marcona 3 in Milan, designed by Parisotto + Formenton Architetti.

The concept was born out of the desire to create an immersive experience, where architecture, light, and materials merge in a space suspended in time: a simple and refined stage designed to showcase the Neapolitan brand's collections.

The composition is based on three primary architectural elements. The concrete flooring, con-ceived as a stand-alone platform, stands out from the original brick walls, defining a neutral and solid base. The black metal staircase, with its rigorous geometry, becomes a bold graphic element that connects the different levels of the space. Finally, the large luminous ceiling panels introduce an ethereal dimension, amplifying the perception of volumes.
Together, these elements express solidity and formal clarity, translating the brand's material and emotional strength into the space.

Within this white box, even the furnishings transcend their display function to become sculptural presences: the floating polished steel hangers, the monolithic dark wood tables, and the large cir-cular mirror take on the value of truly unique pieces. The result is an almost contemplative experi-ence, in which each piece becomes the protagonist, like a work of art in dialogue with the space.
The project creates a balanced balance between memory and contemporaneity. The brick arches and textured surfaces evoke the building's original identity, while the geometrically illuminated false ceilings, technical spotlights, and exposed ductwork introduce a contemporary, industrial language. The contrast between white surfaces and black details reinforces the compositional ri-gor and visual cleanliness of the overall design.

Light plays a central role in the scenography: large suspended panels diffuse a soft, uniform illu-mination that eliminates harsh shadows and enhances the textures and colors of the leathers. It's not just a functional element, but an integral part of the space's and brand's identity.
The open space encourages a slow and thoughtful experience. The showroom conveys exclusivi-ty, artisanal quality, attention to materials, and an authentic slow fashion approach.
