Overhoeks consists of an apartment building along Paul Krugerstraat and family houses along Laan op Zuid and Hilledijk. Between the houses and beneath the apartment building there is a covered, shared parking garage, providing parking spaces for a number of dwellings as well as space for two shared cars. On top of this deck a roof garden will be created, with above it a series of set-back communal terraces for the apartments, serving as collective additional outdoor space.

The apartment building has a plinth level containing, among other functions, a commercial unit (approx. 280 m²), the main entrance and storage rooms. Above this are seven residential floors with 47 custom-designed apartments: 21 compact CITY apartments of approximately 64 m², 24 CORNER apartments of approximately 90 m², and two penthouses on the top floor of no less than 160 m². Each apartment has its own private outdoor space, and each residential floor features a shared outdoor area.

The typology of the DIJKHUIS is defined by its position along the dike. The tall entrance hall accommodates the level difference through a split-level layout. A short flight of stairs leads down to the basement and another short flight leads up to the raised ground floor (bel étage). The LAANHUIS is a classic town house. Its lower two floors have extra ceiling height and offer a high degree of flexibility in layout. Both types are freely configurable and have a private terrace connected to the shared garden.
