Built on the edge of a cliff overlooking Ishikari Bay is SOHO, a structure formed by borrowing from the power of land. Programmed in the construction are three axes; sea, sky, and people, which correspond to its position on the land. I hope for the architecture to appeal emotionally to the subconscious and to amplify the border of its place.
The axes of sea and sky are respectively the horizontal and vertical symbols of eternity. The axis of man is formed from the aspect of the town facing infinity that allows us to see everything at the same time.
