An original design for a singular concept: An upscale cycling shop that includes a repair- tune-up facilities is skillfully laid out around a geometrical shaped platform that serves as sporty showcase for high end cycling products.
The space is divided in three zones: First, the glass enclosed tune-up zone is set directly on the street while looking onto the reception and service areas. It’s dropped ceiling and and crisp steel shelving are clearly visible for any walk-in and thirdly, the very unique velodrome section showcasing the ultra-modern selection of performance bicycles.
Excellent space management is achieved through a striking central platform and the beautifully rounded columns.
Contrasts of black and white smartly shifts attention to the colorful products, all while highlighting them in the process.
A sober, minimalist esthetic helps define this nonetheless upbeat and dynamic space. Overall, the project achieves clarity, precision and functionnality through a witty space planning.
