In the old days, Shanyindao was a stage-paved road. "The clouds are full of valleys, the moon shines in the long sky, ponds and streams are filled with water, floating clouds emerge from the mountain ...... The mountains and rivers reflect each other as you travel up Shanyindao." It has since become a long-awaited dream, a cultural icon of the south of the Yangtze River.

The Shanyindao is no longer all that it once was, but the landscape and ambience of the site is still vaguely recognisable. To the north of the project site lies a grove of Metasequoia trees, spreading far out and blending in with the surrounding natural landscape.

The landscape design extracts the natural landscape mark of the "Shanyindao", continues the modern folding design language of the building, and dialogues with the simple and flowing architectural shape, interpenetrating and organically integrating, blending the greenery with the city map, recreating the natural landscape, bringing a very international sense of iteration and renewal to Shaoxing's urban habitat.

The architectural metaphor of 'straight mountains', the landscape design features a variety of forms such as a head-on mountain gorge, plunging water, small waterfalls, grass, still water and gravel ponds to enhance the visual continuity and integrity, miniature Shaoxing cruise experience, and the mountains and rivers reflecting each other. The design responds to the height difference of the site in the natural and artificial, traditional and modern, creating a highly integrated architectural and landscape garden experience.
