Designtude Studio was commissioned to design the 19000 sft office of STG Labs at Bangalore. The technology company wanted a contemporary space, not loaded with too many colors or geometry. The workplace is classic and calm, ensuring focus on work and productivity.
The concept was light, expansive and contemporary. The layout plan ensured maximising natural light. All meeting rooms were positioned at the centre of the floor to maximise light in the open office area.
Breakout is strategically located at junction of major passageways, with easy access from any point in office. A mix of different kinds of meeting spaces like phone booths, small and large rooms were provided.
The colour and textures were earthy tones of grey, brown and white for a sense of control and calmness at work. The reception had layered ceiling levels with backlit tensile fabric at lowest level. It makes it look stylish and focused. Café and breakouts have wood for warmth and comfort. Meeting room acoustics with felt paneling on wall and tiles in grid ceiling was provided for better acoustics. Breakout ensures break from work as it opens away from work desks. A contemporary classic, well thought out and delivered.
