For over a decade, Space Matrix has been a trusted partner to Synechron, supporting its global expansion through workplace design. So when the team returned with a new brief—to reimagine their Pune office—the challenge was rooted in continuity as much as evolution.
The ambition was clear: to craft a space that’s unmistakably Synechron—disciplined, engineered, brand-consistent yet fluid and adaptable enough to support future-ready Offshore Development Centre (ODC) models.
Rather than disrupt the existing design language, Space Matrix chose to expand upon it, deepening its architectural discipline while introducing layers of human experience. The result is a workplace that embodies structure without rigidity and identity without excess.
The arrival is clean and considered, setting a tone of quiet confidence. A refined spatial matrix governs the floor plan: enclosed rooms are thoughtfully aligned along the façade, with open workpoints filling the floor plate in a way that balances accessibility and flow. Agile project scrums, focused pods, and informal touchdown zones are strategically integrated to support a range of work styles, empowering teams with the freedom to choose how and where they work.
A significant portion of the space has been designed as modular, multi-tenant-ready zones. These areas mirror Synechron’s design DNA while remaining neutral, allowing for easy reconfiguration and future leasing flexibility without the need for a major overhaul. It’s a subtle but powerful example of how brand fidelity can coexist with business adaptability.
The material palette is quiet yet intentional—anchored in warm neutrals, punctuated with moments of Synechron’s brand colours. It brings in energy and rhythm without overpowering the senses.
