Architecture as a brand experience in patricia martinez arquitetura's project for brazilian high jeweler tangarart
The architectural project for the Tangarart jewelry store, signed by Patrícia Martinez Arquitetura, took advantage of Brazilian flora and culture, and the search for a timeless, subtle and sophisticated setting, to offer a complete brand experience. The store is born with all the necessary alignments, defined plans and well-equalized lighting, the latter having a golden tube that illuminates the jewelry inside the cabinetry.
The neutral palette of colors in the carpets and furniture guided the project, so that the shapes and colors of the jewels stood out in the composition of the room, especially the green marble, Tangarart's anchor color.
“The people who visit our store travel all over the world, and they always praise our jewelry, the marble, the choices. For a new brand, we need to gain credibility the moment people enter our store. And we've achieved that,” comments Felipe Baiao, Tangarart's Commercial Director.
A “ring” of ebonized wood joins all the accesses to the main floor. The meeting room, service room and adjacent areas are all mimicked behind this ring.
The predominant finishes are burnt cement, Guatemala green granite and black ebonized wood, all to give the physical space a Brazilian look full of elegance. As well as robust and unique coverings, furniture signed by national designers such as Jader Almeida and Cris Bertolucci make up the store's interiors.
