In partnership with Techspace, a former Gordon’s Gin Distillery has been transformed into a serviced office space that doubles the building’s original capacity—designed to meet the needs of Techspace’s expanding tenant community. The design delivers flexible, industrial-style workspaces with a strong emphasis on sustainability, achieved through thoughtful reuse of furniture and materials throughout the fit out.

140 Goswell Road previously served as a Tanqueray and Gordon’s gin distillery. This was subtly incorporated into the design through green accents, a nod to the iconic colour of both Gordon’s and Tanqueray’s gin bottles. The original timber columns and exposed concrete, were carefully preserved, blending the building’s industrial heritage with contemporary functionality.

Sustainability was central to the project, with a focus on minimising waste by repurposing existing materials. Workstation capacity doubled from 400 to 841, while the building’s rich history as a gin distillery was honoured with subtle design elements. Carpets and furniture from the previous fit-out were thoughtfully integrated into the new design.

The result is a highly welcoming and sustainable workspace that caters to the needs of today’s workforce. This space positions Techspace as a leading contender in the London serviced office market, supporting its ambitious growth plans.
