Renovation in via Teulada

Applied products
View all applied products

Located on the penultimate floor of a building in Via Teulada, this 120-square-meter renovation represents a seamless blend of structural rigor and contemporary lifestyle. Designed for a family of four—two adults and two children—returning to Rome from London, the project translates their desire for a dynamic, youthful, and open-plan home.

Structural Precision & Innovation

The intervention began with a complex technical challenge. To address pre-existing structural issues, we prioritized the consolidation of the floor slabs to ensure long-term stability. The demolition of the original partitions was handled with surgical precision, followed by a reconstruction phase utilizing specialized lightweight materials. This technical "reset" was essential to safely achieve the airy, open layout requested by the clients.

The Open Space:A Resin Canvas

The heart of the apartment is a vast, light-filled open space. To emphasize the sense of continuity and modern flow, we opted for a seamless resin floor throughout the entire property. This minimalist, high-performance surface acts as a unifying element, reflecting the natural light typical of a high-floor residence and providing a sleek, cosmopolitan backdrop for family life.

Bespoke Craftsmanship

Functionality is woven into the architecture through custom-made carpentry. Every inch of storage was designed to disappear into the walls, maintaining the clean lines of the renovation while providing the practical solutions a family of four requires. These bespoke wooden elements balance the "industrial" feel of the resin with warmth and tactile elegance.

A Bridge Between Two Cities

The result is a residence that echoes the vibrant, loft-style living of London while embracing the unique light and atmosphere of Rome. A space where structural integrity meets architectural freedom.
