This 19th century Police Station located in The Rocks, Sydney Australia was recently     renovated. Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority engaged Welsh + Major Architects to oversee the renovation of the building to be used as a restaurant or cafe.

The design was sympathetic to the design of the era with many original features being   preserved. The new addition to the rear features full height glazed walls using Vitrocsa’s Guillotine Windows. When these windows are opened the bottom panel remains fixed into position to form a balustrade.
