There are a number of proposed additions and alterations to this architectural centrepiece of the racecourse. One of the new additions to the existing structure is the creation of a fifth level to house stewards, judges, race day control personnel, meeting rooms and an English broadcast studio.
This upgrading project seeks to improve user experience, maximise space utilisation, refurbish and visually enhance the existing structure.
Users will have a fresh experience at the new grandstand with new dining concepts, coupled with lighting structures that add vibrancy to the Inner Hall, which will be air-conditioned, and new layout of betting counters to improve circulation. New facilities and areas will also be constructed to cater to users from different segments, highlighting individual experience whilst providing something for everyone at the refurbished Singapore Turf Club Grandstand.
