The project is for the doughnut shaped house built on top of the hill with a spectacular view of the ocean that can be viewed from the living room.
We were responsible for an interior styling for this house that enables family members to communicate and feel presence of one another wherever they are in the house. When selecting furniture pieces for the client, we made sure that they would need to give nice accents to each room without making the presence of the furniture too strong.

A key feature in the main living / dining room is the 1600mm diameter round table that is large enough for a gathering of up to 8 people. It is made of a single slab of marble called Aurisina Fiorito, which light grey colour of the stone works beautifully well in the space without being too much of a statement. Its legs are made of walnut that was carved out to create a one and only piece specially for the client. The finished table is fixed to the floor because of its heavy weight.

The dining room leads to the small space by the kitchen designed for eating breakfast. For this room, we placed a semi-circle table with linoleum for the table top, which pistachio green colour goes well with the grey fabric chosen for the bench.
Each room is decorated with furniture with a right amount of character and charm and all fit really well and creates a good harmony in this circular house.

Explanations of each room:
- Playroom -
The tiered sofa is a perfect place in the house for children to relax and play.
The opposite side of the space comes with a wall mounted TV and projector for a family to watch movies together.

The pendant light uses a product of Artemide called "nh ceiling light”.
The pendant light "Patera" by Louis Poulsen and floor light "big shadow" by Cappelini were selected for this area to provide a gentle lighting effect in order to accentuate the 360 degrees view overlooking the ocean through the windows.

- Patio -
The exterior elements are made of recycled materials.
Ocean Dining Chairs designed by Nana Ditzel are placed for the patio.

- Reading room -
The yellow fabric by Kvadrat wraps the Karikomu Case Study sofa frame.
The side table and floor light in the living room are simple in forms yet design details are beautifully accentuated.
