Renovation project for a penthouse of just 35m2 with a 20m2 terrace in the centre of Barcelona.
A complete demolition was carried out to leave a completely open plan. The entire functional programme is organised around a central core, a wooden unit that houses the kitchen, dining table and wardrobe, above which is an office and on either side are the living room and bedroom.
This central core is privatised towards the entrance of the apartment by means of a visual filter like a bookcase. There are no dividing walls except in the bathroom, so the continuity of the ceiling can be observed throughout the space, allowing light to enter from end to end.
In this small penthouse, the interior and exterior become one thanks to the large window that connects the living room with the terrace. A living room completely open to the terrace to which maximum importance has been given.
A project of minimum cost and maximum result.
