The project is strategically positioned parallel to the Altıntaş - Airport axis, nestled within a burgeoning development corridor that promises a wave of inventive projects in the realms of housing, commerce, education, culture, and tourism. This axis is rapidly transforming into a hub of creativity and innovation, setting the stage for a vibrant future.
Spanning a land area of 1,154 m2, the building comprises four floors, each hosting spaces that vary between 275 m2 and 400 m2. The facade of the structure is a masterpiece of architectural ingenuity, featuring tectonic movements, irregular occupancy-voids, and forward-backward orientations. These elements come together to craft surprising perspectives both on the exterior and within the interiors, offering a visual feast that captivates the observer.Each floor,just like contour lines,projects outward at different levels,creating an aesthetic rhythm while also providing functional advantages such as shading and privacy.Thanks to this approach,the building ceases to be a static mass and transforms into a living orgnism that establishes a relationship with the land and its surroundings.
The design of the project emphasizes tectonic movements and expansive "open terraces" that are thoughtfully integrated throughout. These terraces are designed with the specific intent of providing shade, especially from the sun, while ensuring that every user has access to their own "green terrace." Each unit on every floor embraces a "garden floor" ethos, brought to life by these lush terraces. By deviating from a singular building typology, the project fosters seamless interaction between levels, creating a fluid and dynamic experience for its inhabitants. The design draws inspiration from the layered and fluid forms of cliffs seen on contour maps. This natural topography is mirrored in the facade movements and the dynamic arrangement of the horizontal plates. Each floor, much like contour lines, projects outward at varying levels, establishing an aesthetic rhythm that also offers functional benefits such as shading and privacy. This innovative approach allows the building to evolve from a mere static structure into a living organism that harmonizes with the land and its surroundings.
Situated just 3 km from the sea, the project boasts expansive garden-terrace areas allocated for open space use for each unit. To enhance the connection with the sky and horizon while optimizing sunlight distribution between the floors, the structure has been strategically shifted back and forth by 1.20 to 2.70 meters on each level in the north-south-east-west directions. This deliberate design choice not only maximizes exposure to sunlight but also creates advantageous shaded areas that accommodate sunlight from the south. The units are crafted with an indoor-outdoor layout that adapts to various weather conditions, ensuring comfort and versatility throughout the year. The structural system employed is a reinforced concrete skeleton, complemented by high-performance glass and GFRC on the facades, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
