‘X Giornate’ street portico and Zanardelli avenue are the main commercial streets of Brescia city centre, in northern Italy, some 80 kilometers from Milan, a place where you find the most important local and international shops. Among these ‘Via X Giornate – Orologi da collezione’, a shop of antique and collection watches, looks for a luxury clientele who often comes from abroad.

The new space has been organized to be entirely visible from the public porticoes. The ambient aims to be exclusive and strongly emotional.

Watches are exposed in excavated cabinets made of inner lighted onyx, designed to exalt the uniqueness of the pieces and the place. A cor-ten steel staircase, made up with cave boxes juxtaposed, leads to the first floor, where there are a studio and a laboratory.

The essential design of the space and the objects is enriched by some works of art by Andy Warhol and Mario Schifano, which can be directly seen from the public portico too.

The shop was completed in 2005 and eventually completely modified a few years ago.
