Villa in San Nicola Arcella

The idea of the project, given the rectangular shape of the lot, was to place the property on the border on one side and the other opposite the main facade create a so, so enjoyed a perspective view from the street, to create a fifth with the new urban context of the site to redevelop it around. The main facade of the rectangular shape is placed on a triangular-shaped projecting portion and parallel to the border marked by an existing wall, (which is also triangular in shape but opposite).

The floor plan of the project consists of a rectangular body and then stretched slightly in the short side for the entire volume, while the coverage is cantilevered and tapered on the main front. Particular attention was paid to the design of the external setup designed to be viewed from the main road which is located at a height greater than the area of intervention. Conceptually, the entire volume is to give the idea of the house that seem to emerge from the ground like a rock that rises from the ground, characteristics of the area.
