Villa Soligo Hotel

Fir Italia S.p.A. as Manufacturers

Fir Italia and Hotel Villa Soligo, an enchanting combo
Fir Italia has taken part in the restyling of the historical charming hotel in the Treviso area, with an exclusive selection of taps and mixers with an oxymoronic flavour

The Villa Soligo hotel in Farra di Soligo, set deep in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene and Prosecco DOCG area, now a World Heritage Site, is a new charming hotel that has restored the magnificence of a prestigious 18th century historical villa.

The hotel – which reopened on 1st September after long restoration work with a Grand Opening also attended by prominent local authorities – offers to its guests a unique experience, at once modern and vintage, in cosy and elegant ambiances that combine a classic and contemporary feel. The Villa Soligo hotel is a place where travel turns into a moving experience, where one’s soul can be taken care of, where beauty enchants one’s heart, for discerning, refined modern travellers.

“For Fir Italia it is a true honour to take part in the restyling of a hotel that is so steeped in history – says Diego Gabasio, Marketing & Communication manager of Fir Italia. - We like to think that starting from 2020, thanks to the taps and mixers we supply, Fir Italia will become an integral part of the centuries-old history of this hotel, contributing to make it even more unique and elegant. Our history and the Hotel share many common traits: not only the continuous search for aesthetic and functional perfection, but also a love for that which is beautiful, for design and for quality above all.”

Fir Italia has taken part in the project, renovating the taps and mixers of all the bathrooms of the Hotel rooms, with its celebrated Cleo 84 collection, in the Glossy Ancient Brass finishing. Cleo 84 stands out for the cylindrical design of its elements, especially evident in the tap body and in the spout, as well as in the elegant simplicity of the lever. Fir Italia products feature prominently throughout the building: the Villa Soligo Hotel has in fact been outfitted with the wall-mounted built-in washbasin mixers with plate, bidet mixers, free-standing bathtub mixers and the shower sets with two-way mixer, hand shower and shower head, in the versions with wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted arm, or multi-functional, with rainfall and waterfall jet.

In line with the policies implemented for some time now aiming at an ever more environmentally sustainable production, Fir Italia has decided to offer energy saving solutions, which make it possible to save about 50% water, a far from negligible factor for a Hotel. This is possible thanks to the aerators, available as standard on Fir Italia washbasin mixers and shower heads, which work with just 6 or 9 litres per minute respectively, whereas the multi-functional shower heads, with rainfall, waterfall and nebulisator jets work starting from 10 litres a minute according to the model. “Green” bathroom solutions that optimise water flow adjustment, while assuring the pleasant feeling of a powerful and regenerating water jet.

The Glossy Ancient Brass finishing with a vintage and precious feel creates a perfect contrast with the cool and modern design of the Cleo 84 collection, in a dialogue where opposites meet, spanning classic and contemporary styles.

Minimalist in character but with a languid and retro soul (thanks to the unusual finishing, the Cleo 84 collection is able to fit with the utmost ease in settings of great historical value, thus perfectly matching a neoclassical Hotel in Palladian style such as Villa Soligo. The oxymoronic character of Fir Italia taps and mixers, built on contrasts, thus meets the Hotel’s desire for renewal, giving an additional impulse to the creation of a refined setting where history, traditions and modernity seem to blend in great harmony.

The streamlined and exquisitely chic design of Fir Italia taps and mixers will contribute, therefore, to further increase the prestige of an exclusive hotel, with a 240-year history, making it even more welcoming and capable of engendering well-being and serenity among its guests. Two apparently contrasting forces now move together, united by an all-Italian style, by history, love for beautiful and well-designed objects, achieving a perfectly balanced harmony.

Special thanks to Renco S.p.a., which has supported and managed the project for Fir Italia.
