The restoration and recovery of the ancient Casina Ciracì, in Manduria, today transformed into the Wine Resort "Vinilia", a luxury hotel combined with local wine-producing excellence, represents a path to knowledge of the territory, traditions, rooted identities, the heritage of tangible and intangible assets of the upper Salento area in Puglia.

The building, austere and out of scale, with a central tower and two lateral small towers, all embattled, houses 18 luxury rooms for the visit of attentive and curious tourists. The ground floor, once a storage area, covered by Salento Style vaults that reach 7 meters in height, has been transformed into an elegant living room, intended for welcoming and relaxing guests. A mix of vintage and pop pieces, with 50's and 60's furnishings, contributes to creating an informal and private atmosphere.

The reception is furnished with a huge desk made by recovering the original iron door of the Casina and with Apulian chairs from the early 1900s enlivened by unusual tailored upholstery.

The dining room is set with several tables from different periods and styles, combined in a casual way and fitted with ultra-modern North European style chairs. Traditional Apulian lights from the 50s light up the living room, which is heated by a large hand-crafted corten iron fireplace.

On the ground floor there is a wine-bar with a wine tasting room, produced by the Azienda Agricola Masseria Trullo di Pezza, jewel of the Lacaita family, owner of the property.

A large and technological kitchen looks out into the halls through a large window that allows you to watch the chef preparing local food.

The architectural heart of the building is represented by the monumental internal staircase, built on vaults in “tufo” stone, with gooseneck, which climb up to the central tower, reaching 20 meters in height.

The first and second floors of the castle contains rooms, suites and common areas for relaxation, reading and contemplation of the typically Apulian landscape.

Next to the main building there are vaulted rooms, once used for storage, which have now become fresh and spacious rooms for guests.

Rooms and suites offer different atmospheres every time. Each room is unique and the visit of the entire hotel becomes a game of discovery and wonder.

A newly built Spa, located within the garden, will take care of the guests' psychological and physical well-being.
