Located at 16 Rue Volney in Paris’s 1st arrondissement, this 2,000 m² building - formerly the Hôtel Chatham - has been fully renovated to house the Paris headquarters of a luxury brand. The project embodies a perfect balance between heritage and modernity.
The renovation reimagined the entrance as a symbolic transition between exterior and interior spaces, while restoring architectural features to preserve the spirit of the place. A naturally lit open-plan workspace on the ground floor was designed to encourage collaboration.
The energy renovation integrates environmental certifications and targets compliance with the 2030 Tertiary Decree, alongside a rethought approach to soft mobility to ensure smooth circulation throughout the building. The spaces were designed to allow the tenant to fully appropriate the premises, through a careful interplay of colors and materials: white enlivens the office areas, wood defines circulation spaces, and light guides and connects each area.
