“ Small Changes, Big Impact: A Showcase of Nuanced Design.”

Sankalp Designers as Architects

A Visionary Creation in Pune's Thriving Suburb

Strategically nestled in Pune's thriving Pimple Nilakh suburb, our architectural marvel transcends conventional urban development, embodying visionary creation. With a commercial frontage facing the main road and serenity in the residential expanse opposite, our mission harmonizes the commercial façade with neighbouring row houses and low-rise structures while ensuring elevated views.

The site's ingenious zoning places commerce upfront, residences in the middle, and tranquil amenity space at the rear. Clever design decisions, like double-height terraces, mitigate the western sun's impact, infusing dynamism into the project.

Defining the Façade and Dynamic Balconies: An Architectural Canvas The façade, a defining feature, captures the imagination, influencing market appeal. Amidst a commonplace urban landscape, our angled terraces transcend norms, infusing vitality. These dynamic balconies challenge conventions, introducing a visually captivating element while ingeniously transforming parapet walls into luxuriant planter beds, seamlessly integrating nature into the building's distinctive appearance.

Structural Innovations: Elegant Integration of Columns A common issue in housing projects is the intrusion of columns and beams, often needing cover-ups in interiors. In a ground-breaking structural innovation, our walls function as shear walls, eliminating the need for visible columns. The direct connection to the slab ensures clean finishes, providing an aesthetically pleasing and functional solution.

Lobby Redefined: Traditional building lobbies often leave much to be desired, especially in the context of mundane housing societies that dot our cities. As architects, we recognize the potential to redefine these spaces, shifting the focus from mere functionality to creating vibrant hubs of community interaction and enjoyment.

In our revitalized lobby, the transformation is profound. No longer just an entry point, it has become a dynamic social centre. It's a place where residents can host meetings, greet guests, or plan playdates for their children, all within an environment that exudes elegance and comfort. This transformation not only elevates the living experience but also fosters a stronger sense of community within the building.

Small Changes, Big Impact: A Showcase of Nuanced Design Our project illustrates how small, thoughtful changes yield significant impacts on architecture and urban design. Despite mass housing constraints, subtle nuances transform narratives, revolutionizing aesthetics, and breathing new life into housing projects.Top of Form
