The building of the daily newspaper "Die Presse" presents itself as loft-like industrial architecture. The "Presse Lounge" - consisting of a bar, club and meeting room as well as a studio - sets a modern, timeless accent. Clear lines, light-coloured wall panelling and high-quality furnishings characterise the rooms, which form a design unit.
A well thought-out lighting concept gives the club room a relaxed atmosphere, while the studio impresses with state-of-the-art technology.
The outer skin of the newly created rooms forms a "museum wall", realised as wood panelling.
The bound editions of the daily newspaper since 1848 and - based on designs by artist Lionel Favre - portraits of clever minds who have written for "Die Presse" over the years have been milled into the numerous square panels.
