Savasa

Commissioned in 2018, INSADA Integrated Design Team was appointed to develop the architecture and interior design for Savasa, a compact residential development in Cikarang, West Java, in collaboration with Japanese developer Panahome. The project sought to demonstrate how thoughtful planning, sustainable design strategies, and efficient construction methods could elevate the quality of compact housing for modern Indonesian families. Savasa comprises two residential typologies. The first occupies a 6 × 11 meter plot with a total built area of 62 square meters over two storeys, while the second sits on a 7 × 12 meter plot with 72 square meters of built area. Despite their modest footprints, both homes were designed to provide gen... More

Unit Villa in Minamiboso

This project set out to complete a high-end villa in a time- and cost-effective manner by combining modular 2.5-by-6-meter steel units.  The site lies on an inclined plot at the southernmost point of Minamiboso City, with an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean. To keep earthworks to a minimum, the design adopted a split-level arrangement that responds to the natural topography, placing two detached wings at ground level with the main residence above. In the main residence, the bedrooms and service spaces are grouped in an L-shape to the northeast side, with the south-facing living area featuring full-height openings to maximize the ocean view.  matte design The terrace’s roughly five-meter-deep overhang creates a g... New Avenue - Residential Development

New Avenue — Residential Development at Avenue of United Europe in Żory The planned multi-family residential development is a contemporary response to the needs of the city's residents: comfortable apartments, safe shared spaces, and a structured urban layout that builds genuine neighbourhoods — not just an "address." The scheme comprises 6 nine-storey residential buildings with 2 levels of underground parking. The buildings are grouped into three pairs, each connected by internal recreational courtyards located on the rooftops of the garage sections. This arrangement clearly separates traffic zones from areas of relaxation, while providing residents with a green, intimate "heart" at the centre of each cluster. MUS ARCHITEC... More

Çayyolu Residential

Located in Çayyolu, Ankara, the project is conceived as a prestigious residential development on a sloping and elongated site. The architectural approach is shaped by the site’s strong topographical character and its relationship with the surrounding landscape. Composed of three residential blocks resting on a continuous podium, the project positions itself within the luxury housing segment while questioning conventional residential models. The primary design intention is to redefine everyday domestic life through spatial flexibility, long-term usability, and a closer relationship between architecture, landscape, and user. Responding to the linear geometry of the plot, the massing is articulated into three distinct blocks to av... More

Hartdene Barns

Hartdene Barns is a stunning, newly-completed collection of nine luxury, carbon-net-zero eco homes, set within forty acres of land within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in the UK’s green belt, close to the villages of Hartfield and Cowden on the border of West Kent and East Sussex. The development was designed by architects Nissen Richards Studio for Q New Homes. The whole-life carbon assessor regulating the project declared the properties to be 10-15 years ahead of the majority of new-builds, per floor area, stating early on in the process that the Hartdene Barns development ‘will easily be among some of the most environmentally friendly houses in the entire UK.’ Images by Gareth Gardner, with additional... İzmir Residential Project

Located in the Seferihisar district of İzmir, the project is conceived as a contemporary residential settlement that foregrounds the relationship between landscape, topography, and the coastline. The masterplan establishes a continuous spatial experience with the sea through two pedestrian pathways connecting the site to the pier and the shoreline. This gradual, terraced approach towards the coast defines a strong threshold between architecture and landscape, reinforcing the project’s integration with its natural context. ACE Architecture The settlement is organized around a low-density development strategy, composed of one residential block and two village-like clusters. These village settlements are structured through a flexib... More

Housing on Shchepova Street

The residential building on Shchepova Street is a comfort-class development that combines residential and commercial functions, creating a pleasant environment both for the residents and for the surrounding neighborhood as a whole. The project features modern apartment layouts designed to accommodate various living scenarios. Thanks to the site’s relatively elevated position above the city level, the upper floors offer panoramic views of the city center and the urban landscape. For this reason, the top-floor apartments are designed with spacious terraces intended for both active and relaxed leisure. This is a space for those who value the opportunity to work or recharge while being inspired by views of the city. AVR Development... More

Plissé Soleil

An urban positioning for a small suburban house. A light, sensitive, and living skin that transforms throughout the day. A rounded volume that plays with openings, shadows, and textures to evoke the pleats of a petticoat, the vaporous outlines of a cloud, and the softness of interiority. The residents wish to enlarge the living room and imagine a new dining area. The project takes the form of a pleated curve that slides between the right wing and the garden. The quarter-circle design recalls the classical geometry used in Art Deco architecture, particularly visible on the main façade of the house. The existing window lintels are rounded, and the moldings and wrought-iron elements echo this motif, enriched with a graphic vegetal i... More

NUDGE

The « NUDGE » Building provides for the first time in France, the possibility to connect architecture and behavioural sciences. The challenge given by the two real estate developers, OGIC and COGEDIM is ambitious and brand new. It redefines the way of designing a building, by adding social and anthropological aspects, which involves immediate results on the user way of living to improve his comfort, encouraging him to have ecofriendly habits and promote exchange and mutual support among people.  Nicolas Trouillard Nicolas Trouillard Nicolas Trouillard The “Nudge” concept then becomes an integrated approach of societal needs and issues of tomorrow.  The main objective is to stay focus on the... PYT

Architecture becomes a framework for social interaction through generous shared lounges on each floor—true extensions of the dwellings—designed to accommodate collective uses and moments, and to offer breathing spaces that help break isolation. From these shared areas, a private vestibule is created for each dwelling, where use once again dictates form. Jeudi Wang Loggias provide the ornamentation of the façades and enrich all residential typologies. Accessible from the bedroom, living room, or kitchen, they become animated spaces and an additional “room” for each member of the household. Civano Multi-Residence

Within the new urbanist development of Civano, one of the last undeveloped lots was purchased with the hopes of providing housing for multiple persons. We worked with the city and the neighborhood to design a ‘non’ duplex: a residence with a primary and secondary but technically not a true duplex. Caption The design needed to ensure a nice home for each occupant, but when viewed from the street, the building looked, and felt, like a single family home. The smaller residence enables more spacious living by utilizing a spiral staircase to the second level bedroom and bathroom. Caption This allows for soaring ceilings from the first floor kitchen and dining area. A new front porch ties the modern stucco exterior walls i... More

This special project, designed by the NJ+ Architects, is the new home of an argentine family, consisting of an elderly father and an adult son who lives between Argentina and Brazil. Carolina Lacaz Carolina Lacaz With 165m², the apartment's concept is a modern environment with elegant pieces, without functional aesthetics. Il Parco dei Gelsi

"Il Parco dei Gelsi" is a residential complex funded by private investors that was born from the desire (which we share with the clients) to create a housing area with a low environmental impact. Andrea Ceriani Andrea Ceriani The project consists of nine apartments of different sizes, each of which has a privileged relationship with the outside thanks to the gardens and the large balconies. The project is based on the principles of bio-architecture with the aim of paying attention to harmony and balance. The basement, where the garages and technical rooms are located, will be built using traditional technologies based mainly on the use of reinforced concrete. Courtyard and Garden House

Located in an established suburb of Melbourne, The Courtyard and Garden House has a compact, modest footprint and has been sensitively sited to retain existing trees. This approach is the antithesis of many large new developments in the area that erase important existing ‘backyard’ ecologies. Caption The new family home prioritizes longevity and sustainability. It caters to their needs both now and in the future and can adapt from a two-bedroom house with separate studies to a four-bedroom dwelling. This has been achieved by carefully organizing the space around a north-facing courtyard, allowing for a variety of flexible, separate living areas and open-space zones. It creates a series of serene, light-filled spaces with a... More
