A new office for Azan, a Polish distributor of premium pet food, isn't located in a city centre or an office building. It was built next to the company's own warehouse, in a logistics park near Radom, in central Poland. Offices like this are usually the poor cousins of the workplace world: a few rooms bolted onto a hall, done to a minimum. There are thousands of them across Europe. We agreed with the client at the very start that this one would give people the same experience we design into the best city buildings. Concept: Set against the evolving urban fabric of Kolkata, Pailan Workspace reimagines a dilapidated rice mill as a contemporary loft-inspired workspace that blurs the boundaries between industrial rawness and refined functionality. The Blueriot project is a solution for the reconstruction of office space in a postmodern building from the 1990s. The original interior was overwhelmed by layers of plasterboard, coffered ceilings and partitions. Although located on the top floor of an administrative building with views of the city skyline, the original spatial solution suffered greatly from a lack of natural daylight. alexshootsbuildings alexshootsbuildings The aim of the reconstruction was to clean the interior and make it airier.
