This 1200 square feet tailored apartment integrates traditional ideals with the client’s idea of creating a home which reflects their unique lifestyle and is welcoming and cozy. The design language of the house has vibrant touch of Indian culture. Located on a corner lot in the Little Forest Hills neighborhood, this residence is shaped as much by its constraints as by its opportunities. The dual frontage introduced a series of restrictions—setbacks, visibility, and exposure—but also opened up a unique condition: the ability to redefine how the house meets the street. SKINNY HOUSE. A house on an 8-metre-wide plot in a post-punk landscape. When we put on SKINNY jeans, we expect them to be flexible and well-fitting. This ensures comfort and freedom of movement despite their small size. The same is true of the house on Znicz Street in Warsaw, which had to fit into an elongated trapezoidal plot with a front width of 12 metres and a width of 8 metres at its end. The house is developed perpendicular to Rua Professor Agostinho da Silva and occupies the central area of the plot. This proposal aims to construct a single-family home that will fit into the lot, oriented along an East-West axis. Once inside the lot, a regulation-compliant ramp begins, leading to elevation 100.48m.
