Matsuko Fast Food

Three stories old house on the Xihu lakeside was renovated to 2 types of Japanese Restaurant. Many tourists are usually walking around there, so that on the first floor we planned the fast food style which provides low price and keeps high rotation. Because on the first floor of this old house its ceiling height is very low, so we can’t change the height too much. Also due to satisfy the requested programs, the shape of the space is very irregular so that it’s difficult to attract the tourist around there. Then we referred to “HUNAZOKO” ceiling that means bottom of the ship, which is usually used in the traditional Japanese house. The center line of the ceiling being raised up only a little, we can feel the extent o... More

White Alien

This is a residential interior design called White Alien designed by Amirali Bahmani at AAB ARCHITECT Studio in 2019. The designer's goal was to create a unique futuristic space that would satisfy the needs of residents in addition to the visual appeal. PROJECT DESCRIPTIONIt is a residential conceptual interior design that fits the project's limitations such as area, floor to ceiling height, column location, shear wall, ceiling beam hanging, walls and installations. To make the space look simple and large, glossy white and black colors have been selected. Since the designer could not move up and down in designing the ceiling, a parametric two-dimensi... More

Royal Lounge

The Double-Sidedness with Inside and Outside    Things that are visually very clean contain something other than the appearance behind them or renew things beyond their appearance. That’s the case with faucets and ceramics we use in the bathroom. By appearance, they are clean pure white or glittering silver. Contrary to their appearance, however, they are tools for receiving the impurities from the human body or let out water to ensure a new and clean start by wiping off the impurities.  'Royal & Co.', which has focused on research and production of such ceramics and faucets since its days as ‘Royal Toto’, is a company that doesn’t settle for the production of products but lays great store on th... Milwood Residence

Located in heart of the Venice neighborhood, the Milwood Residence is a 3,800 square foot single-family home created to connect its occupants and their surroundings. Sensible programmatic adjacency and an open floor plan define the spaces at ground level. Occupants can move freely between common spaces which extend to exterior spaces as well as vertically via a central circulation 'void' to the roof deck. The 'void' was achieved via a custom operable skylight which fills the space of the circulation core for the home and allows access to the roof deck. This solved an architectural problem common to homes in the area. Many homes in Venice have roof decks, however, the code only allows a small amount of space to extend above the bui... More

Cataldos Salon

Cataldo’s Woden Salon had to be state of the art in hairdressing salon design and reflects the excellence and standing achieved by the team at Cataldo’s Salon.      The design began with high expectations, a brief and a space which was a building shell. A palette  of materials representing natures raw materials, in their most developed and advanced form, were utilised  to create a composition comprising stone, timber, metal and glass. The design features colours based on white, chocolate and amber and finishes in aluminum, copper and chrome.   Expectations were high; to achieve the feeling of... More
