When Mattia contacted us it was for a 34 sqm studio flat located at the third floor of a building in the town-centre of Limbiate; very unoptimized, that surely needed refurbishment.
First of all, we decided to divide with a glass wall the living area from the sleeping area optimizing the spaces, placing a wardrobe at the entrance and a wide L-shaped kitchen with a shelf for snacks; below the window, we put the sofa facing the entrance and the living room wall.
Grey oak wood, anthracite and concrete to match the kitchen colours as well as the close side of the living room, featured by the industrial style of the shelves.
Beyond the glass wall we placed the bed, illuminated by the door window, overlooking on a small terrace.
In the aisle that leads to the bathroom a container space for the washing machine was created; the bathroom is covered by grey squared (60x60) tiles whilst we chose for the basin to give a rough touch. The outcome is a welcoming nest for singles or young couples.
