Occupants have their own residential care apartments of 65 m2 with sanitary of their own and a small kitchen . The home atmosphere is continued in the apartment. As people with dementia have a need for other people, the Martha Flora Homes have De Meander: a number of linked common rooms (halls, rooms, niches and corners) with various atmospheres and a different stimulus supply , in which activities take place continuously. When the occupant leaves his apartment, walking around and looking for something in the De Meander, he ends up automatically in the surroundings where he feels at ease.
