Apartment in the treetops ... interiors from TOYA DESIGN

The owners have been looking for this place for a long time. They love to travel, they love nature, cinema, good food and wine, and meeting friends. The new apartment had to be special. Tailored. So when they finally found the right location, they invited Tomasz Wojtkowiak, the head of TOYA DESIGN, to cooperate in interior design.

The owners set the TOYA DESIGN designers to create a space that would be comfortable, modern with an individual trace of tastes and habits, with family souvenirs that they had collected for many years.

This is how the apartment was created, consistent in form and drawing. Refined in detail and flawless in the organization of space. Minimalist in color and material, and at the same time warm and elegant.

The building is surrounded by greenery, so designers decided that the large glazing would be covered with just a touch of curtains.

The spacious living room is connected with an open kitchen and a place to rest.

The glass, white kitchen with a graphite, coarse stone top stands on a deep, dark, warm wooden floor.

The living room is illuminated by large designer lamps, the choice of the master of the house. On one of the walls, we designed a large concrete element, which is the background for a home cinema.
The antiques from the family house harmonize well with the iconic, modernist bookcase of prof. Rajmund Hałas, which the designers from nowyodel.org have made to order.

An important element of this interior is wood. A unique, walnut parquet in a zigzag pattern and doors to the full height of the corridor.

In the corridor, as suggested by the lady of the house, TOYA DESIGN designed a mirrored ceiling that stretches the space and gives it a unique character.  In the corridor, there are wardrobes covered with heavy curtains that separate but do not close the space.

The bedroom is connected with a modern bath room. Simple forms, color-saving details are modern and elegant. The space of the bedroom and bathroom is separated by curtains, which, when covered, ensure intimacy in each room.
