Today Archello introduces a new set of Firm Awards categories to widen the scope of the Archello Awards 2024 program, which will recognize outstanding design and innovation across a wide array of architecture product and project categories this fall. Companies will be recognized at a global level as well as from each of the following ten countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Netherlands, Spain, UK and USA.
The new 'Firm of the Year' awards are open to architecture and interior design studios, offices and firms of all types. The awards will be based on firm size and their recent achievements, commending their contributions to the field related to design precision, innovation, material exploration and sustainability: through methodical planning and execution, the firm consistently delivers projects of impeccable precision and quality craftsmanship; innovation is evident in their embrace of new technologies and design approaches, pushing the boundaries of conventional practice; projects showcase inventive uses of materials to achieve both aesthetic and functional goals; and sustainability remains central to their design, with a focus on environmentally responsible design and construction methods.
Small Firm - 1 to 10 employees
Tailored to boutique firms making a big impact, this award celebrates the creativity and nimbleness of smaller architectural firms. It recognizes their ability to deliver innovative solutions and personalized services.
Medium Firm - 11 to 40 employees
Designed for mid-sized architectural firms, this award honors excellence in balancing creativity and scalability. It acknowledges firms that have showcased consistent innovation, growth, and impactful contributions to the architectural community.
Large Firm - 40+ employees
Recognizing the giants in the architectural realm, this award celebrates large firms that exhibit outstanding design, manage complex projects, and set industry benchmarks. It acknowledges their significant influence on the built environment.
Interior Design Firm - any size, 1 employee or larger
Focused on the mastery of interior spaces, this award recognizes firms that excel in interior design. It celebrates innovation, functionality, and precision in creating captivating and transformative interior environments.
