Viridian Reclaimed Wood announced the introduction of Antique Barnwood tables, wall paneling and flooring, according to Viridian co-owner Pierce Henley. It will be featured June 24-26, 2016 at the Dwell on Design Los Angeles in booth 2419.
Sourced from an all-American mix of reclaimed oak from dismantled barns, the solid wood products accentuate the best aspects of the wood’s rough-and-tumble past: the circle-sawn marks, nail holes and timeworn character. Viridian precision-crafts them to get the optimum combination of reclaimed style and functional performance.
“This is a true rustic finish milled from the beam face,” Henley said. “We capture the vintage spirit while making products suitable for both commercial and residential environments.” Antique Barnwood tables are made in many common sizes up to 36” wide and 96” long, as well as custom-sized countertops. Options include a full rustic face or a skip-planed smoother surface; completely smooth face white oak and vintage oak tables are also available.
All tables include hidden angle iron to stay flat and a durable prefinish suitable for heavy-use restaurant environments. Tables are over 1½” thick, and their hardness is 1290-1360 on the Janka Scale.
Antique Barnwood flooring and paneling options are also available in a ¾” thickness, mixed 4”-6” widths, and variable lengths from 2’-8’.
