Highly resilient and maintenance-free façades that are particularly exposed to wind, rain and moisture, age very quickly. Even a high-quality ETIC system can be damaged and have its functionality impaired by being exposed to permanent climatic stress over the years. High mechanical loads can also put a strain on façades and the underlying insulation. The Baumit CeramicSystem provides highly decorative protection for insulation, with a surface made from ceramic tiles, clinker brick slips, natural stone slabs and much more.

Resilience & protection

It gives the façade a high degree of mechanical resilience, ensuring it remains maintenance-free for many years into the future. Baumit ProContact and Baumit CeramicTex ensure optimal bonding and reinforcement of the insulation material. With the Baumit Speed screw anchor, the insulation system is also anchored to the substrate, thus ensuring a high level of stability.

The ceramic coverings, which are permanently bonded to the reinforced insulation using the high-performance ceramic adhesive Baumit CeramicFix, and then grouted with the water-repellent joint mortar CeramicFuge, not only ensure ideal protection against the weather, but also provide additional sound insulation.

No restrictions on use

Due to the wide range of configuration options, this system meets the highest architectural demands and urban planning requirements.

It does not matter if the building is to be blended into an urban context or if the independence of a façade is to be highlighted. Clinker, ceramics, natural stone coverings, there are almost no limits to the creativity that is allowed.
