CIRCUITBAC GREEN - a carpet backing with the best possible environmental performance. The backing uses plant-based natural oils as well as recycled content. The bio-based content provides a carbon-negative alternative to existing backing materials, meaning it absorbs more carbon than it emits during its production. This reduces the overall carbon footprint of the finished carpet tile significantly. The total recycled and biobased content for a carpet tile using CircuitBac Green will be as high as 87%, depending on the design. CircuitBac Green consists of layers of biooplastic polymersmade from natural oils and a recycled limestone filler. The whole backing is reinforced with fibreglass for optimum stability and durability, and covered with a non-woven secondary backing. Like other Interface backings, it performs to the highest standards – and has the dimensional stability for a TacTiles glue-free installation. CircuitBac Green is compatible with a wide range of Interface carpet tiles: Biosfera I Bouclé, Composure Collection - Composure & Composure Edge, Conscient, Contemplation, Duet, Elevation III, Equilibrium, Ice Breaker, Off Line, On Line, Silver Linings SL910, Silver Linings SL920, Silver Linings SL930, The Scandinavian Collection, Transformation, Visual Code - Plain Stitchery, Visual Code - Stitchery. World Woven WW860, World Woven WW865 and World Woven WW870.
