The glass block facade incorporates Clear 1919/8 Clearview units by Seves Glassblock, part of the manufacturer’s Basic range of modular glass masonry elements. Formed as a hollow glass unit in a standard 190 × 190 × 80 millimetre format, the block allows daylight to pass while diffusing views, supporting a balance between illumination and privacy.
The system contributes to environmental performance by enabling deep daylight penetration, reducing reliance on artificial lighting, while its inherent durability and resistance to weathering support long-term use with limited maintenance. Glass blocks can also be integrated into prefabricated panel systems and combined with additional finishes such as solar-reflecting or self-cleaning coatings, which can further reduce overheating and maintenance demands over time.
