The lamp designed by Studio Natural for Martinelli Luce in 2013 – received an Honorable Mention at the 24th edition of the Compasso d’Oro, the highest Italian design sector award assigned by ADI (Italian Association for Industrial Design).
This important acknowledgement of Fluida’s excellence was bestowed in Milan by the International Jury, which evaluates the works pre-selected by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory and published in the ADI Design Index every year in the two-month period preceding the award ceremony.
Fluida is a direct-light table lamp made up of a flexible LED strip connecting two resin base elements equipped with magnets. The lamp immediately won accolades from international criticism for the extreme “fluidity” of the LED strip, which permits creating myriad lighting configurations, no two alike.
