Most people living in cities tend to surround themselves with greens - flower, plants and trees. Everyone wants, if possible a balcony or a terass - maybe you have a special plant at your office desk - but you don't always remember to give it water.......
In this room divider I have been working with the idea of bringing the nature into the working place or home of a city person, working with an abstraction that reminds you of the nature - but it´s artificial.
A base in cast aluminium. Steel tube dipped in rubber to achive friction and soft touch feeling. Circular "leaves" are pulled over the tubes. The leaves are made of textile to create a sound decreasing effect.
The room divider is demountable and therefore easy and cheap to transport.
