Green Code Thermowand® is an insulated, semi-precast reinforced-concrete wall system comprising two factory-produced concrete leaves connected without thermal bridging, with a continuous layer of insulation between them. The outer, non-loadbearing leaf protects the insulation, while structural reinforcement is incorporated into the inner leaf and the cavity is completed with in-situ concrete to create a monolithic loadbearing wall. The standard product has smooth, low-porosity, metal-formwork-finished concrete surfaces.

The integrated insulation and thermally separated construction support high levels of fabric performance and allow the system to be used for KlimaHaus A and Passivhaus-standard buildings, helping reduce operational heating and cooling demand. Factory production provides controlled quality and precise material use while reducing on-site shuttering, waste, noise, and dust. The concrete construction also provides durability, low maintenance requirements, and thermal mass, while the concrete and reinforcement can be recovered and recycled at end of life.
