Lightweight aluminium facades with Metawall® or Metawall® A2 Metawall® is a 10 mm thick aluminium lightweight panel with a corrugated core and two aluminium cover sheets. Characteristics such as large flatness, high rigidity and low weight (only 5.7 kg / m² with a panel thickness of 10 mm) speak for Metawall® as a curtain wall facade. The non-visible mounting of the panels is possible by either riveting or glueing. When Metawall® is glued it has the advantage that no additional primer is needed, since the product is already produced with a primer. The product has an Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) according to DIN EN ISO 14025 and EN 15804 Type III, a building inspectorate approval: Z-10.3-708 (DIBt Germany) and the fire rating acc. to DIN EN 13501: B – s2, d0 (flame retardant).

Metawall® A2 is a 15 mm thick aluminium lightweight panel with a corrugated core and two aluminium cover sheets. Characteristics such as large flatness, high rigidity and low weight (only 6.8 kg / m² with a panel thickness of 15 mm) speak for Metawall® A2 as a curtain wall facade. Metawall® A2 can be mounted with rivets. The product has an Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) according to DIN EN ISO 14025 and EN 15804 Type III and the fire rating acc. to DIN EN 13501: A2 - S1, d0 (non-combustible).
