During an ingenious process, Jef Peeters melts wooden profiles in its full length together. A hollow round cylindrical pillar is formed; stiffer and more stable than a rod or solid wood column. Also oval and conical shapes are made: a challenge for every creative architect.
Extra long lengths are possible, permanently resistant to torsion and internal tensions.
The columns are available in the most common wood species. They feel smooth and are pleasing to the eye.
