Skypanel Ombrae Branding / Signage

Skypanel Ombrae combines art & science and brings a new dimension to a building’s exterior/interior design by creating a three-dimensional effect on planar surfaces. The 3D pixels on the aluminium panel’s surface are created by digital processing and produced with the latest technology machine tooling. The panels reflect the various shades of light and create any desired image on the facade/panels.

- Performance-based site-specific attributes can be encoded into the Ombrae surface, including solar shading effects, viewing angle directional control, acoustic dampening, and micro-climatic facade solutions via aerodynamic control coupled with thermal dynamics. We develop additional usage areas for Ombrae application like branding & signage purposes. New imaging technology applicable to a 100% recyclable material with additional qualities gained such as anti-graffiti and scratch resistant surfaces.

Seen here in 10mm diameter OpticalTiles™, each pixel has been programmed relative to the observer's viewing position and relation to Ombrae panels, dedicated front and/or back lighting design, and ambient natural lighting.

Skypanel Ombrae is fully customized.

- Input artwork can range from photographic images to computationally generated imagery and designs. Image design can be created originally by Ombrae studios or created/provided by the designers, architects and clients.
