Sopro bath/shower sealing system

Under German standard DIN 18534, bathtubs and shower trays must be integrated in the waterproofing concept and may be treated as large fixtures for connection to the membrane by means of special sealing tape and fittings. This prevents water from infiltrating behind/below the bathtub/shower tray and thus eliminates the need for a waterproof membrane in this area. The Sopro bath/shower sealing system was developed as an attractive all-in-one solution to cater for a wide range of applications. The sealing tape and fittings are soft, flexible and thinly constructed. They are fitted with a butyl-free, self-adhesive strip to enable straightforward, reliable fixing to the bathtub or shower tray edge.
