Rubinacci Napoli, a company engaged in the production of wood furnishing accessories and operating under the art direction of Paolo Volpato since 2021, returns to the industry’s most important international design event to participate in the latest edition of the Salone del Mobile di Milano with a new project, fruit of a collaboration with leading architectural, interior and product design firm, Park Associati.
The encounter between the two companies has generated Tarsio, a table that draws inspiration from the concept of plant grafting, in which two shrubs merge in a perfect equilibrium of mimesis and contrast. This concept is reflected in the choice of woods used for the tabletops and legs, which alternate in a play of consistent harmony.
However, it is not only the choice of wood that makes Tarsio so special: the tabletops are produced using the ancient technique of wood inlaying, typical of the area stretching between Naples and Sorrento. This artisanal technique, passed down from generation to generation, gives tables an exceptional and unique character that only the art of woodwork can create. The Tarsio collection owes its production to the lofty craftsmanship of the woodworkers of Campania, who have skilfully ensured that each piece is unique. The tables adapt perfectly to all types of interiors thanks to their pared-down and contemporary design.
