The terrace window requires the selection of two elements - the upper and lower sash, which together create a spacious exit to the terrace and the use of external space that has not been available until now. The FOP-X P50 APMX upper top hung and pivot element is a modern solution for demanding users, combining high insulation performance, security, comfort of use and very good noise reduction. Applying the P50 energy-efficient glazing unit and the thermoPro technology allowed to provide comfort for all year round. Manufactured using high-quality pinewood, vacuum impregnated and coated with clear acrylic, the window combines elegance with durability. No air inlet results in increased tightness and sound insulation, ensuring silence and comfort of use.
Main features:
Maximum ease of use – the top hung and pivot opening method allows for easy ventilation and window cleaning. The mid-height hinge ensures stability and smooth movement, allowing the sash to be stopped in any position between 0° and 45°, while the hinge positioned above the centre of the window allows full use of the attic space and the sash to be rotated through 180°. The opening method can be switched using the preSelect sliding switch. The sash guiding system facilitates precise closing and increases user convenience. This is the most frequently chosen opening system, providing comfort and functionality. The lower window increases the amount of light entering the room, replacing the need to combine two windows and allowing access to the terrace.
Energy savings for all year round – the modern 44 mm thick P50 glazing unit with thermoPro technology significantly reduces heat loss in winter and protects the room from overheating in summer. The Uw heat transfer coefficient is rated at 1.1 W/m²K when installed with a dedicated EHV-AT Thermo flashing, providing high insulation performance and lower heating bills.
