The TERRART® terracotta facade system by NBK Terracotta is a ventilated ceramic rainscreen solution composed of fired clay panels engineered for cladding applications. The system’s visible elements are exclusively terracotta, mechanically fixed to a sub-structure to support rear ventilation and moisture management while maintaining a dry cavity and balanced air pressure behind the cladding.
TERRART® panels are available in a variety of formats and customised shapes, allowing detailed articulation in shape, colour, surface structure, and glaze. As a natural ceramic material, terracotta offers inherent resistance to extreme temperatures, weathering, and corrosion, which supports long-term performance and reduced maintenance.
The system has sustainability documentation in the form of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) prepared according to ISO 14025 and EN 15804, providing lifecycle environmental data for the ceramic cladding system from raw materials through manufacture and disposal.
