As early as the 8th century the punkah (hindi for "fan") was known in Arabia and can therefore be called the first man-made ventilation device. Ever since the punkah was a symbol of luxury and wealth and could be found at oriental high places such as palaces of Indian maharadjas. With its slow and silent pendular movements the majestic THE SOLITAIRE Punkah creates a calming and relaxing atmosphere. The sophisticated technology allows to synchronize up to 999 units. It can operate outdoors, has a mere 20W energy consumption and a safety stop. It is optionally remote controlled with a 3 speed adjsutment and ready for LED illumination of the blade.

The blade comes in 3 different designs: The Peacock with more than 200 peacock feathers to form a magnificent up to 2,2m wide half circle, The Ostrich with 72 Swarovki Crystals and 24 premium South-Afircan ostrich feathers, and The Breezer, with a blade made from fireproof fabric, that comes in two sizes and is suitable for outdoor use as well.

Bespoke versions are possible, such as The Arabian Crystal, a version of The Ostich crusted with more than 20.000 Swarovski cystals and with black ostrich feathers.

The Solitaire Punkah ceiling fans can be found in high class residential homes and top hotels, resorts and restaurants, mainly in the Middle East and Australia.
