Glulam – Strong, Lightweight, and Sustainable

Glulam (glued laminated timber) is made by bonding layers of strength-graded wood together, creating a strong yet lightweight material ideal for load-bearing structures like beams and pillars. Verso glulam is produced from Finnish spruce and pine and manufactured under strict quality control. It meets the standard strength class GL30c, while our split glulam products are in class GL30cs, offering flexibility for different construction needs.

Glulam enhances the natural strength and versatility of wood, making it suitable for demanding structures and visually appealing designs. It’s also fire safe—the charring layer slows combustion, maintaining load-bearing capacity longer.

Easy to install in any weather, glulam can be cut to custom lengths, reducing waste and saving time on-site. It’s a durable, versatile, and sustainable choice for modern construction.

Key Benefits:

  • Made from high-quality Finnish spruce and pine

  • Certified to strength classes GL30c and GL30cs

  • Eco-friendly and carbon-binding

  • Strong, lightweight, and fire safe

  • Easy to work with and install

  • Flexible design options and clean finish
