The WEGA II, NOVA II, LYRA II systems for ventilation, cooling and heating combine comfort in space, efficient ventilation and an elegant design. A combination of air control and adjustable induction as well as the extended Pi function with demand-controlled ventilation offer flexibility and efficient operation.
Innovative Pi function detects every need The development of Fläkt Woods Chilled Beams is aimed at a healthy and comfortable room climate. The unique Pi (Pressure Independent) function allows airflow to be adjusted and not only saves energy but also ensures high air quality through the pressure-independent functionality of the cooling bars. Pressure changes in the duct system due to different usage requirements of the rooms have no influence on the use of the Chilled Beams.
Thanks to the Pi function, variable air volume is no longer limited to larger pressure recovery systems. The easy-to-install Pi servomotors can also be retrofitted for step-by-step dismantling or in case of changing conditions in the buildings. A linear volume flow control ensures the optimal Coanda control. The drop in cold air can be prevented over a wide volumetric flow range. The volume flows can simply communicate with the exhaust air in order to achieve a balanced volume flow balance.
The solution for different project requirements The Fläkt Woods Chilled Beams are suitable for different construction projects - whether they are new buildings, reconstruction or refurbishments - the systems adapt to the requirements.
Optimized nozzles with variable geometry enable the widest possible range of air volume flow settings. Nozzle changes can be triggered in such a way that the air volume flows are automatically adapted to the degree of occupancy of the rooms - independent of pressure changes in the duct system. Only presence detectors or CO2 sensors are required as manipulated variable.
Comfort and the greatest possible energy efficiency of the systems with demand control are also available for refurbishment projects with limited space.
The X-Flow version contributes to the well-being of the rooms with a low noise level.
In addition to comfort and energy efficiency, the requirements for an appealing design are also taken into account. A model with a flat height for a lower ceiling overhang or the flush mounting in the false ceiling allow the system to integrate inconspicuously. In addition to the RAL 9010 coating, other RAL colours can also be implemented on request.
